Course description

How does a university press actually work? In addition to an insight into the processes at FAU University Press as an example of a library-operated, non-commercial diamond open access publishing house, participants will also receive practical tips for their manuscripts as part of a Word, InDesign and LaTeX Q&A session. In addition, there will be a brief introduction to what needs to be considered with regard to typical publishing processes, copyright, Creative Commons licences, the accessibility of digital documents and Open Access distribution channels (Google Scholar, BASE, …).
