Course description

The course will share the basic concepts and benefits of open access based on the philosophy of open science, and provide information on how the library can support this process. Content presentation will be carried out in an interactive environment within the framework of the questions given below, under the guidance of the instructor and with the support of the participants:

  • Where is open access in open science?
  • What is open access publishing, how is open access publishing done, what are the benefits?
  • How can you find a reliable open access publisher and repository to publish your research?
  • How does the library support you in the open access publishing process?

  2. Be able to find a reliable open access publisher for your research
  3. Learn how to find a suitable repository for your work
  4. Understand funders’ expectations regarding open access
